Jenny Olin, LCSW
 Jenny Olin's specialty and primary area of interest is relationship counseling and education. Whether your relationship problem is in your marriage, as a couple, with finding a life partner, with a family member, friend, or someone where you work, she helps you develop the resources to resolve these problems effectively. Her practice Lighted Pathways provides the flexibility of individual, marriage or couples psychotherapy,and relationship education workshops for married and pre-marital couples and singles. For those interested in Christian counseling, she offers a Christ-centered focus. She believes when you solve your relationship problems effectively you not only receive personal benefit, but also contribute to growing healthier families and a healthier society.
Prior to entering private practice in 1989, Jenny Olin worked as an outpatient therapist for the Saratoga County Mental Health Center in Saratoga Springs, NY. There she provided individual, marriage and couples and group psychotherapy for adults experiencing the full range of mental health and psychological problems including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship and marriage problems, anger management, grief and loss, and self-esteem issues. She provided clinical supervision to Masters level trained social workers. Jenny Olin was also an Adjunct Faculty member for UAlbany's School of Social Welfare, training Masters level students in counseling and psychotherapy. For several years she taught stress management classes for an HMO. Further, for ten years she was a Certified Diabetes Educator, and brings a medical and psychosocial knowledge of chronic illness to her practice.
Jenny Olin received her Masters degree in Social Work in 1981 from The University at Albany, specializing in clinical practice. She is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a National Association of Social Workers Diplomat in Clinical Social Work. She has extensive advanced clinical training from several institutes including the following internationally recognized centers of excellence: the Western Institute for Group and Family Therapy, the New York Institute for Integrative Psychotherapy, and the Pairs Foundation.
